Pippin had some May Day fun with his two Maypoles. It was a cold May Day in this part of the world, there was some sun but it felt more like early March than May. I made one of the Maypoles with a drinking straw and some cut coloured tissue paper and the other was made with a piece of driftwood and some pretty ribbon. We watched film clips of people dancing round Maypoles on YouTube - to get some extra feel for the event. Pippin seemed to enjoy the occasion very much!
