Witchy Stuff In A Globe

I built a little witches room inside a glass globe last night.It was a 'pop-up' room which has now been dismantled though it may appear again under a different guise. There are some little doves in a magic hat, ome witchy pictures, a little frog inside a dome, a small bottle with a face, oh and of course - a little witch!

All Living Fear Fanzine 1995 And Pippin Of St Ives And Carbis Bay

Pippin St Ives and Pippin Carbis Bay got hold of a very old fanzine from 1995 featuring Matthew North and Andrew Racher promoting 90's Devon band 'all living fear' (small letters apparently). As they have a passing interest in music the fanzine, which is around 22 years old, this sparked an awakened response from the languid doggies.

We do have a 90's fanzine on bands from the Jaywick area  which has yet to be shown to the Pippins but we will save that for another post. We have a few 90's and first decade of the noughties bands to show to the Pippins. Are we fans - no - we only came across these groups recently, sometimes in a very odd way. I came across one group due to my interest in urban exploration websites. I am a collector of ephemera of all kinds and so obtained bits and bats that I wanted on the subject(s), as some have eclectic enthusiasm.

A good friend of ours, a Christian who does a lot of karaoke, did his singing take on 'Destiny' as shown above in the video clip. He did well really because he'd never ever heard of 'all living fear' the original singer, or the song, before a few run-throughs of it. He actually just sang the song ad-lib outside. He is a trained pianist who plays the church organ and his father (now long retired) was a music teacher.

Dance Of The Spirit - Shamanic Short Summer Solstice Film

The film has audio if you turn on your speakers. We had been honouring the Summer Solstice for some hours and by this time it has come light. there is a very Shamanic feel to this little film, like some kind of change is happening and earth and Spirit are indeed one for a time. Every part of nature was alert and waking to the beauty of the day.

The film has audio if you turn on your speakers and it follows some of our Summer Solstice 2017 rituals. We actually generated a lot of energy through these rituals and we began them long before the sun came up and then continued right until morning.

The films are important because they are a record of some of the things that have been performed. Life is a ritual really. Any routine behaviour is a ritual. Putting up decorations for birthdays and Christmas are rituals. Christmas dinner is a ritual. A ritual is a kind of routine set of behaviours for a specific purpose, or just because it is - well - tradition - which is a good enough reason to get in to it!

Magick And Occultism At Midsummer With The Pippins - Plus - Tell The Bees?

The Book of Oberon contains many magical texts from the Elizabethan times. In fact, the whole book from start to finish contains rituals. The Pippins seemed to be very happy acting as magicians and also having a quick read of one of Shakespeare's plays at the same time.

A few weeks ago out house was attacked by a swarm of literally hundreds bees. it was just like a horror film with bees trying to get in everywhere. it was really hot at the time and we had worked all night and were going to bed. There was this horrendous buzzing and it was almost deafening. Bees tried to get in vents and all the windows had to be closed, despite the heat.

The bees got in to the house rabbits' cages and had to be sucked out with a vacuum cleaner. There was a nylon mesh pinned over the vents (cut from a  pair of tights) and as I was laying down to try and get some sleep I was assailed by a loud droning sound and the vent cover kept moving. The bees were not trying to nest - for some reason they had attacked the house. They had gone when we got up but remained around the house for several hours. We got a few dead ones off the carpet and I have kept one as a specimen. My daughter was stung by a bee that managed to get in to the lining of the bedroom curtains.

I am really making a note of it here as a record really. It happened on Friday 26th May 2017.

The Gorgeous Pippins And The Fantastic Roses

The Pippins were enjoying some great time outdoors yesterday. Both the Pippins just could not resist these gorgeously delicate yellow and white roses. Big Pippin posed happily with the blooming yellow rose and Little Pippin posed with the pretty white rose. They both seemed to be having a lovely time and neither was in a hurry to go back inside, taking full advantage of the late spring weather.

Pippin St Ives, on the right and Pippin Carbis Bay on the left, (their surnames), light up the night with their Uranium Green 'Vaseline Glass' candle holder and creepy candle.This is an outdoor shot and it was originally quite windy. The wind picked up after 9pm but the day was very overcast and cloudy for June. Luckily we got this photo in quickly when the wind died down a bit. We were outdoors doing some rituals for someone, so it seemed a good idea to have a quick photo of the lovely, adorable Pippins.

Uranium was mined near the areas in Cornwall, UK, the dogs are named after and was used to colour glass green amongst many other things.The percentage of uranium in Vaseline glass is extremely low, around 2%.

The Mermaid, The Flamingo And The Little Bird

This is our outdoor Water Altar. It is deliberately left natural with overgrown ponds and has built up quite a lot of natural power in it's own right. Recently next doors' cat, which is very feral, attempted to get a little sparrow which was feeding in the garden.

The cat got the sparrow in its mouth and then ran straight in to the flamingos and oddly enough, the mermaid statue seemed to leap at the cat and the sparrow was knocked from the cat's mouth. The cat attempted to pick up the sparrow again, but was disoriented and a starling flew at the cat. The cat dropped the little sparrow which flew off. The cat had knocked the flamingos over and the statue had fallen off her altar, but nonetheless between them they saved the little bird's life.

We are spirit conjurers (for good only) and it is possible to conjure a mermaid spirit in to a cup of water which is used in spell work. We always honour all the Beings that work with us by giving them gifts of items such as sweets, cake and fruit. Some spirits like shiny glitter too.

I have just put four boxes of paranormal books, tarot cards and magickal formula books in to the outhouse as my chair was surrounded by them all. I still have lots and lots of tarot decks and paranormal/magick books in the house in drawers and crates - in fact a little pile has tried to grow by my chair again since yesterday - including an astrology kit and a book on pendulums that I got in 2001.

I generally use the books for cross referencing.That is why I have so many. There may be one paragraph in the whole of a book that is helpful, but that paragraph will slot with another paragraph in another book and produce a goldmine of secret information, like a formula.

Usually I read books on advanced magick or very early magickal texts that have been translated, generally, because I enjoy them. We did spend one period watching wall to wall paranormal TV shows all the time the TV was ever on, for months, in fact, until we thought it was time for a change. I particularly liked a TV series called 'Sea of Souls;. I re-watched all these in 2012 but I think they originally ran around 2005 -7 area.

I have given loads of my books to charity shops in the past, including the whole of Wordsworth's Tales Of Mystery And The Supernatural paperback series - which I later regretted because some of the books are impossible to get now, new. I do have lots of ebooks too but I prefer a real book that can be held and perused, because I may need to open several books at once to get notes from them.

It is difficult to get certain books because everyone who is in the same field as me wants a copy and they are offered online at silly money. I do have one rare book by an American author/occultist of the 1970's that I got in 2015 and unbelievably the person who was selling this book in all the world, lived a few miles away from me which was astounding in itself. It only came from 'up the road', literally.

Hermes Astrolologie Scarf, The Pippins And Jackie O

This scarf was originally designed by Francoise Faconnet for Hermes in 1963 and has made various appearances through the years in different colours ever since. I was drawn to it because I wanted something to act as a cloth to cast my Astrodice on. I wasn't really thinking of wearing it, because to me I could see it acting in a more useful capacity as a magickal appliance.

However I was interested in the scarf's history and found that the legendary Jackie Kennedy - later Jackie Onassis - or 'Jackie O' as the papers used to call her - had one too, at one time or another.

The two Pippins just could not resist the pretty scarf either - they wanted to pose in it and I just had to let them!
