Pippin The Painting Pooch - ‘Top Dog’ Upcycles Cornwall’s St. Ives

Pippin
Pippin is a lovely friendly little dog with a very great sense of purpose. He knows his own mind and he is very loyal and affectionate. Pippin is very energetic and likes to play. He is quite inquisitive too. and is in to everything. Pippin is in fact a real bundle of joy. He likes running on the sand - where and when permitted and even takes the occasional careful dip in the sea.

Cornish Penny, 1811
The photograph shows a genuine 1811 Cornish Penny. There is quite a history attached to these.

Reverse; 'FOR THE ACCOMMODATION OF THE COUNTY'
Cornwall is most famous (in a good way) for tin mines, Cornish pasties, pilchard fishing, the writer Daphne du Maurier, and the artist Pamela Colman Smith.
Smugglers and wreckers are two of Cornwall's more dubious claims to fame.
