This is an old bracelet from, I would say, the 1960's - complete with Cornwall travel charms. the condition of the bracelet was not so great but I do have another St Ives charm separate from this. The main thing is though, that there is magick involved here so the condition of the bracelet is not a problem as such.

| Rare Jaywick Sands travel charm |
Jaywick Sands is a place in Essex that has seen better days. It was once a lovely tourist resort that would have rivalled St Ives in Cornwall. Even in its run down condition, of today, the TV screen gives the place a certain urban scruffy charm and I am sure Jaywick will have seen an upturn in people wanting to live there even now. Perhpas one day in 30 years time, St Ives will be another Jaywick Sands.
Jaywick Sands had everything going for it between the 1930's to 1970's. I have postcards of old Jaywick showing the written lives of many happy holidaymakers, loving every minute of the Jaywick beach even though such a time capsule is no more.
The photo shows a rare Jaywick Sands travel charm. What I love about this though, is it has a picture of a genie lamp on it and the letter 'J' puts the jinn in Jaywick!
