In the city where I come from, Ramadan is taken very seriously and those of the Islamic faith do tend to fast until sundown. Obviously when Eid al-Fitr came round on the new moon of June we decided to do some photos of the events that were going on nearby. I actually own two copies of the Koran and once in 2010 spent a whole weekend reading it page by page for hours. I also have other Islamic books such as the Hadith. I like to know about all religions.
