The Pippins Take Up Dancing With Lights

The Pippins had to get in on the act with all these dancing shows on TV at the moment. The Pippins wanted to put on a dancing act of their own - where they could show their four legged skills to the best advantage.

Completely Vegan Microwave Pudding

This is a picture of a completely vegan pudding. We added sultanas and cherries to make a nut free Christmas pudding. The problem is that some vegetarians and vegans cannot eat nuts or soya products and a lot of alternative food for the veggie market contains soya/tofu or nuts in some form or another which still are not suitable for many people who are looking for alternatives to meat.

The occultist Dion Fortune had another interest outside of magick and this was developing soya products. She actually wrote a book called 'The Soya Bean' and her father - lawyer, hotelier and chess player Arthur Firth - a distant member of the Sheffield steel Firth family, put money up for her husband Dr Penry Evans to further develop the soya bean as a food. However, civil war broke out in Spain where he had set up his studies with soya beans and Dr Evans was forced to abandon expensive equipment and leave the country.

The problem is that some veggie people are allergic to soya and tofu products as well as nuts and lots of well meaning alternative 'veggie' recipes contain these items.

The pudding above which can be made in various forms, is completely vegan as well as being soya and nut free. It is also made in the microwave for much faster results.

Crackingly Alternative Christmas Cards

I bought these Christmas cards from a Gothic shop and then basically dare'nt send them to anyone I know in case they were offended - so I ended up having to buy some more traditional cards to send out.
Thing is - I love these cards - 'Have A Sinister Christmas' is my favourite. Then there is another one with zombie snowmen on it, Steampunk Santa drives his sleigh and some woman that can't stand Christmas had a good cry. Gorgeous Christmas cards!

Colour Changing Doggy And Friends In Party Mood

These lovely little colour changing creatures were in full swing party mood the other day, when they had a special get together and catch up with each other. They are really delightful little things - it is as if they are sitting having meaningful conversations about secret liaisons that no human could know about!

Not A Happy Christmas For Turkeys And Reindeer

We staunchly support Animal Aid and are completely against exploiting animals, birds or creatures. in any way at all. We think it is cruel to breed turkeys for Christmas and to exploit poor reindeer. Animal Aid has video of someone kicking an emaciated reindeer at a farm in the UK. There is a very good live feed from a rescue farm in New York State showing rescued sheep and turkeys.

Punctilious Pippin, The KLF And The Lords Of Chaos In Blogger Mahem

In my days of working in a heavy metal/rock nightclub, customers used to ask for a drink called a 'Red Witch' which as far as I can remember, was lager, cider and blackcurrant cordial all in the same glass. It was a very popular drink at the time, for some people, but it looked positively lurid. All the 'glasses' were plastic and Budweiser (a bottle of 'Bud') was usually consumed straight from the bottle.
Slayer were a popular band to have their music blasted through the speakers as were many other forms of screeching delights. There was a good atmosphere and all the staff and customers were friendly. All the staff dressed up and got in to the spirit of things too, so no one felt like a wallflower at a wedding.

There days many bar tenders seem to wear uniforms or dowdy clothing and they don't always look too happy. it would be far better if they could dress to suit their personalities.

Another time I worked at a completely different kind of establishment. it was a 'fun bar' where the staff  again dressed up and at the end of the night danced standing on the bar itself. Unfortunately I once accidentally kicked a man - one of the customers, on the head whilst doing the dance routine, but he was ok about it, luckily.

And I also worked in a number of 'club music' style nightclubs - essentially as I love music - all kinds of music - from chart music to classical music and Indian music. it all resonates like the music of the spheres.

Music frees the soul and so many people are told to shut up when they sing and have their voices judged by others when really it is about making your own heavenly noise and connecting to the universe in your own unique way, more than hitting notes and being pitch perfect. Just let that sound out and have a good screech. The same goes for playing musical instruments - who cares if you can't play the thing properly, just have some fun with it!

I partially taught myself to play guitar by strumming along to the likes of Jimmy Hendrix and other rock songs from the 60's, on an electric guitar I got from the supermarket back in 2008. It was one of those cheap ones and when we plugged in the practice speaker that went with it - it blew up immediately.

 Of course I admit I hadn't a clue what to do with the guitar really and I didn't want to learn the conventional way so I just played by ear. I don't read music so I hadn't a clue either about 'E' strings, or 'B' strings and didn't want to know because loads of people can play conventionally and some are pretty good to be fair but I suppose I just like being different! I did it my way - and still do - so to speak.
 I have a few guitars now - all played very unconventionally and sometimes used for magick music or ceremonial music too and if a string snaps - yes apparently the 'E; string has a tenancy to do this - my son has to change it for me - because I don't know how. But I want to keep things like that - as it keeps the sound connection to spirit more 'pure'. Older men are often seen in 'guitar bands' grizzlingly playing along happily, but older women, or much older women, in these kind of bands are a rarity because really, raunchy guitar playing is still seen generally as a 'man thing' any age of man thing too.
I'm talking the serious stuff  - not the young lady poseur with  the pink stratocaster - though good on her nonetheless.

Pippin wasn't too sure about the Lords Of Chaos or the KLF and he certainly didn't like the sheep thing (Well known stunt by the KLF - we support Animal Aid.

Magickal Portals And Late Autumn Roses In The Middle Of The Night

The first image reminds me very much of a basilisk coming through a blue portal. I really did feel something was coming through here. There are gateways to other worlds all around us - it is just a matter of finding them.

The green picture shows a small twig. This stands for All-One-Ness - bravery and determination. Some people believe one is the number of God.
What is hiding under the furry body of the moss? is it emotion - or something  less accounted for. the moss hides a secret - so would advice anyone using this in divination to watch out for someone clutching secrets to themselves.

The late November roses signify determination to hang on no matter what adversity is faced. They show dexterity and adaptability in na changing climate. I actually shone coloured lights over these as the pictures were taken. They have not had filters added and could work well as  tools in Colour Healing.

Pippin And The Turkey At Thanksgiving

Pippin and the turkey enjoyed a really good American Thanksgiving, even though we live in the UK.  This photo was taken outside at around 2.30am in the morning during a break in the heavy rain. The Pippins are very interested in all htat goes on around them and the Turkey enjoyed joining in.

Witches Stang Pierces The Night

A witches stang is an object with two horns or points where a candle can be placed in the middle. the Candle represents the light of the world or the light of truth. Some people make stangs out of upturned horseshoes, however this is a natural one, which works very well.

Pippins And Poppies - The Pippins Sit In A Special Bag

The Occult Meets Fireworks On A Dark Night

The spirits were out in force this Bonfire Night. This garden is partial pet cemetery, part occult altar area and part recreational There are lots of wild creatures who come in to the garden every night, including foxes and a hedgehog. The foxes and hedgehog eat the offerings so all is well.

Dracula And The Witch In Readiness For Halloween

These delightful little statues really capture the Halloween feel and in actual fact they make a great addition to spell work or for decoration. These will be going outside as they are really meant for the garden!

Magificently Magestic Mabon Moon Video Spell With Creepy Music

I captured the true energies of the Mabon area night by using a bodycam. It was basically to hand - I was wearing it and the moon was very bright and the energies were really strong so I just unclipped the bodycam and pointed it at the moon and also did the same with a Hawthorne tree which we gave some herbs to. It was the early hours of the morning - the best time to be out really! My daughter did the music for the spell - the music is also part of the working and we often do musical spell crafting as a coven.

October Spell Using Winter Energies

The spell was done just this week - early October, using winter trees on a ground of red tree confetti and using white cotton wool for a snowy scene. The small lights represent fire - battery operated ones are fine as they still create a glowing spark of representation. It is always good to mix the energies of different seasons too.

Special Ritual With Glitter Skull And Incense

This special ritual was done just last Thursday for someone. There was actually a very good vibe from the ritual and we managed to do it under uncertain weather conditions that had been wet and blustery only a short time before. We held a big Mabon Autumn Equinox Spell Fest and there was lots and lots of magickal energy around. We even had a home made Mabon cake. The first piece was put out as an offering. The food in the top picture was all put out as offerings on this very special Pagan occasion. We take our beliefs very seriously and think it is right to give offerings to the forces we work with. This happens in many religions.

This is a picture of a 'Happy Spell' we did for someone. Eggs can be used for many things in magick. Eggs are extremely versatile and not wasted physically here either, as one of the local foxes took these eggs away after the ritual was finished, thus we helped the local wildlife too.

Mind magick works and is performed in very many ways. The photo shows a little 'Johanna Elizabeth' mind doctor doll and the phrenology head. Phrenology was very popular in the 18th century and there was a large calling for people who could read the shapes and sizes of heads.

The picture features, candles, herbs, a Mermaid doll and a model lighthouse. This captures the spirit of the sea, the energy of the waves and the warmth of the sun. There is even a little sea dog in the photo too, bringing further Mer-magick to the scene.

Alert! Bug Detector/Frequency Scanner At Work

The video shows how a simple device  sold as a 'bug detector' originally can pick up a frequency very easily. It also shows that there are all kinds of frequencies going around undetected in the air and these could in some cases be having an unseen detrimental effect on the heath of occupants of homes which are in the pathway of these frequencies
.
There used to be lots of articles on the internet about things like this -in the days when may people had their own websites to express their personal views on and share ideas. These have been very much pushed out by social media which of course is huge these days and massive for journalists - especially Twitter.

 However, because of the nature of the social media pages there is not much information on them at the best of times and there are many secret and hidden groups within groups. I always think anything you have to sign in to - in order to view - is very dodgy because it is information gathering, big time. I feel (and I know many others who do too), that interesting information or topics of concern should be free and not something anyone should have to 'sign in'  or 'sign up for' in order to read the contents.

That is why I have been an avid blogger since 2003. Blogs can generally be read by anyone - no signing in required, to read the blog. Freedom And Empowerment To The People, I say.

We actually found a bugging device in a new TV we bought. It wasn't the kind of bug one would normally perceive as a bug - it picks up which TV shows are watched presumably if Freeview is used and sends the information back tot he manufacturer, I would think.

Tesco supermarket actually once put tracking devices in some of their bar codes presumably to see how the product was used. This was a few years ago. Tesco also used to have a secret list that people who bought lots of alcoholic drinks (booze) from their store got their names (payment ID's) added to this list.

If anyone contacts Alcoholics Anonymous, The Samaritans, or a number of other prominent organisations in the UK, their name /phone number is added to a secret list .- Absolutely true.

Even worse, Bradford Council in the UK had an agreement - and indeed, may still have this agreement) with the National Health Service to let them know the names of those who checked out books on anxiety or depression at Bradford City Libraries..We stumbled on this a few years ago whilst working on an investigation. Very scary I think. Not much privacy any more.

The Pippins And The Scorpion Tales

Scorpion Tales are another set of TV plays from the late 70's. What was quite astounding was - in one of the plays there was a boy drawing out demon seals from The Goetia and doing the High Magick chants on telly! It was a gobsmacking amazed moment to see that, in fact we moved parts of it on. It was also an incredibly irresponsible thing for the producers to have the boy do, even if they personally didn't believe in such things. Some things are best left well alone whatever one's personal belief system (or lack of one).
Scorpion Tales was originally broadcast on mainstream TV. at the time.  The Pippins don't know what to think!

The Extra Sensory Perception Pippins Look In To The Omega Factor

We just finished watching the 1979 series of The Omega Factor 10 days ago. The series obviously looks dated in parts and there are a few things in it that are not quite publically correct these days.
However, it is still quite frightening in parts and at the time a lobby group did their level best to ensure a further series was not made for TV. There is one episode which caused masses of concern and it could indeed be where some later writer(s) got the idea for the 'Insidious' films.

Personally I was not that keen on the 'Insidious' films, though I agree there can be all sorts of strange people in the astral realms. I am a keen fan of Victorian and Edwardian ghost stories and gave my entire collection of Wordsworth Classics on this subject to a charity shop a few years ago as I had no room for them. Charity shops usually benefit from books I have no space for - they have received lots of my occult books - including some I thought looked good and then when I got the book(s) home I realised they were not what they were cracked up to be. If they go to charity at least someone benefits from them.

The Omega Factor plot could happen, if it is not happening already. There were a few radio series produced recently that followed on with the Omega Factor story. I have not heard them but I doubt they will be as good as the original.
