We have been using Halloween themes all through October 2018 - in advance of the actual date. To be fair it is not play acting where we are concerned as it is a professional job for us! We work with Halloween themes all throughout the year because it is both important and genuine where magick is concerned and we take it very seriously. The Pippins enjoy it too :)
