We do a lot of magick work with dolls and it is very easy to convert shop purchased dolls to suit any purpose or spells. They make good mannequins and many of the very well known makes of doll can easily be adapted and customised for adult magickal uses.
 
It is absolutely essential to change the doll's outfit on purchase, so that it stops being a child's doll and starts taking on a magickal purpose. Aside from magick, nicely dressed dolls make pretty and unusual ornaments too.

Little Gnome In The Middle Of The Night

In the middle of the night and very much not in dreamland, this little garden gnome was very alert and awake. We posed him with a special crescent moon wand and some lovely blue lights. There is a lot of personality in the darkness.

Love Spells Galore for Valentine's Day Or You Can Marry A Ghost Instead

Valerntine's Day has indeed become very commercial. I remember when I was little, my very much older sister once baked a heart shaped Valentine's cake and put pink icing on it, but I am not sure who it was for as I was quite young at the time. However, the Spirit Of Love is incredibly strong around at Valentine's time and that cannot be denied. It is a wonderful occasion for love spells of all kinds because the source of energy tapped in to is extremely strong, with millions of couples celebrating their love for each other.

Singles need not despair either. if you are looking for a partner from a magick perspective, act as if you already have one. Sleep on one side of the bed only, if you have a double and leave space in your closet for a partner's clothes. Put ornaments together in pairs. Two Mandarin ducks (ornaments) side by side are believed to attract partners by the Chinese. For women, putting a picture of mountains on your wall will help attract a mate as will a water feature containing blue pebbles, according to some well known belief systems. Book a 'date night' and go on your own as if you were going out with a partner.

If you want more than this, some people prefer spirit lovers. A woman recently married a ghost in International waters off the coast of Ireland, which was apparently fully legal. However she has now split up with him. Strange but completely true. Many people also claim to have spirit lovers or have had encounters with them.

Chinese New Year Of The Earth Pig

On 5th February 2019 it became the Chinese New Year Of The Pig and this year it is the last in the earth cycle, a new cycle begins next year, 2020, on January 25th, when it will become the Year Of The Rat, under the element of metal. Our little pigs and the specially dressed Goddess Doll were all in attendance for the occasion.

Offerings and rituals were also done and this is a picture of some offerings actually taken outside in the middle of the night. The actual celebration is a long one and is a huge yearly event in China.

This is a special spell utilising the energy of Power Animals to help the actions along. Spells can be put together in literally thousands of ways. The animals are imbued with spiritual energy which they pass to the recipient of the spell.

Imbolg Pippins With Brigid Goddess Doll And Sheep

Imbolg is celebrated on the first of February as a rule, although Candlemas, the Christian equivalent, is celebrated on the second of February. The Celtic Goddess Bridget or Brigid was transformed in to a Saint by the Christians, so either is ok. Traditionally the Goddess  (or Saint) lies in a bed known as 'Breed's bed' and this is kept all year. Imbolg means 'in the belly' and it is a fire festival celebrating the sprouting seedlings under the earth as well as the lambing season.

The Pippins And The Seahorse

Here are the Pippins posing with a very friendly seahorse who stopped by to say hello. The seahorse seemed to be very interested in what the Pippins had to say, so they talked about  swimming and what it was like at the bottom of the sea and the Pippins told the seahorse about what it was like to be doggies and all the exciting things they got up to.

Blood Wolf Super Moon On 21st January 2019

We were out in the garden with the tripod getting pictures of the Blood Super Moon (Wolf Moon) which presented itself this January 2019. It wasn't as good as the blood moon of September 2015 which was a lot brighter and more spectacular and which we also got photos and film of. This January blood moon  seemed darker and more reserved somehow and perhaps even a touch more sinister...

Trees Standing Proud In The Night

Actually the photos in the pictures were taken near the end of January and it was indeed past midnight at the time. We decided to go out in to the elements and connect with nature which is what we did. It was really very dark.

The Cake And The Telephone box Communication Spell

This above picture shows a communication spell we did for someone. The communication is represented by the telephone box. The cake represents warmth and hospitality and the rings represent a connection as in 'a ring is round it has no end and that's how long that we'll be friends'. That is why all the parts are crucial to the spell.
