Toby - The New Doggie In the Pippin Paraders

This is Toby - the newest member of the Pippin Paraders. He is a lovely dog with a nice personality and likes to rest quite a lot. When he rests however, he always keeps himself partially aware so he can tell what is going on around him. Toby definitely likes to be in the know. Forewarned is forearmed! Well, so they say, not sure if it works that way really, but hey, its worth a go! - Toby thinks so, anyway!

The Green Absinthe Fairy Calls In With Her Green Lights And Sugar

The 'Green Fairy' is a truly fascinating concept and I was thinking of getting an Absinthe glass for her to sit in. To be fair, those who follow the paths of  the Sixth Senses don't need Absinthe to tune in to the Otherworld - a concept which science will never be able to figure out. Absinthe turns milky coloured like lime milkshake when cold water is dripped on it through sugar lumps. It is very artistic looking, as are other green and blue drinks such as Creme de Menthe and Blue Curacao.

Winged Hell Sheep, Heaven Sheep And The Genie Sheep

The sheep Genie suddenly appeared out of an astral lamp and he met up with some of his friends high in the astral realms. He also met up with his Hell And Heaven Sheep friends for a catch up. Hell Sheep have three glowing red eyes and heaven Sheep have three glowing pink eyes. The Genie Sheep appears in a halo of misty smoke and is very mysterious!

Outdoor Herb Ritual In The Night

This is an outdoor herb ritual and we try to work outdoors for a s long as we can. although May, June and July were very hot  - August has been wet and cold  - night temperatures have been more like early October than August - so it has been a let down in that sense because it actually snowed at Easter in April and even on May 10th, the Hawthorne tree outside the house was completely bare of leaves  because I got a photo of it on that day.

So, to sum up, there was no Spring either - just three months of hot weather, then back to the cold again. I think people have been fooled in to thinking it was a good summer ... A workman who came round said he is stocking up with coal for winter - he is expecting a bad one - to pay for the hot weather May to July. But what about all the snow before that? Hadn't we already earned a decent summer? Not that I saw much of it - I was too busy working in the depths of the night.

It was a bit like the line in 'Break On Through To The Other Side' (day destroys the night, night divides the day) in the song by the famous 60's group The Doors. I think the men at the HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) ionospheric station must have been interfering with the weather again!

Stop The Culling Of Grey Squirrels - Animal Aid Campaign

We support the rights of animals and the organisation Animal Aid. We have obtained a batch of these postcards shown in the photo, which are for different Wildlife Trusts throughout the UK. The one in the picture is an Ulster Wildlife Trust, for Northern Ireland, but there are Wildlife Trusts all over, and we have sent the cards out to the appropriate places. We also try to raise the awareness of others too - to help Animal Aid in their good work. Animal Aid have been successful in a number of their campaigns recently, including a campaign to help racehorses. A campaign to stop the building of a chicken farm has also been successful.

Candle Ritual To Bring Light And Remove Obstacles

This is one of a series of candle rituals we did recently. we really enjoy getting the pieces together for rituals and do a wide variety of them from many different backgrounds and cultures. We try to do rituals outside as much as we can, even in winter, but when that is totally not possible we do work inside. All kinds of items can be used in spells and rituals.

Parading Pippin Pallisades - Pippin Exclusive

The Parading Pippins are back with a vengeance, posing for all to see. Big Pippin and Little Pippin are just so, so cute and they have appeared in lots and lots of features in their very own blog. The Pippins have a good temperament, but know what they like and don't like. They get on well with people but are not pushovers. They are quite psychic and they often dream of their past lives when they lived in a Maharaja's palace and were extremely pampered pooches, wanting for nothing and being served food on golden jewelled platters. Sometimes they would snooze in the shade near tinkling fountains and watch colourful fish swim in the many palace ponds.

Mice Definitely Matter - Supporting Animal Aid

I am a staunch supporter of Animal Aid and this leaflet discusses how mice should not be used in laboratory experiments and how it is very cruel to use them in this way. All life is precious and should not be seen as a commodity or something easily to be discarded by humans at their whim. Some humans have no regard for animals and birds whatsoever and sometimes they have no regard for fellow humans either.

I have cared for animals since I was a small child and some of the things that are done to animals and birds legally, as shown by Animal Aid, are quite appalling.

Goddess Dolls Work For Thousands Of Rituals

It is very easy to turn a standard doll in to a very special serious Goddess Doll - not for kids! This can be done either simply by redressing the doll in nice appropriate floaty 'goddess clothes' and giving the doll her own space as a kind of ornament.

For those who want to take things further - the dolls can be used as part of an altar set up and can be ritually charged or actually used to represent particular goddesses or if male, gods.

If this is the case it is best to use a single doll for one purpose only and to stick to that purpose. Dolls make very good altar pieces in their own right.
